Race Report Round 2: Oulton Park
After a difficult opening round to the season, Oulton Park felt like the reset we needed. From the moment we arrived at the circuit, everything just seemed to click into place. The car was performing exactly how we wanted, the conditions stayed in our favour, and the whole atmosphere around the weekend felt positive from the outset.
Oulton Park is one of those circuits that demands confidence. It’s fast, technical, unforgiving in places, and rewards consistency lap after lap. Fortunately for us, the car felt strong throughout every session, allowing me to settle into a rhythm early on.
Race day itself couldn’t really have gone much better. The rain that had been threatening throughout the build up thankfully stayed away, which meant we could fully commit and push on in dry conditions. Strategy, pit work, consistency and pace all came together exactly when we needed them to.
Bringing home another P2 finish and securing our second podium of the season was a fantastic reward for everyone’s hard work behind the scenes. Results like this are never just about the drivers, they come from the effort the entire team puts in before we even arrive at the circuit.
A huge thank you again to everyone supporting the journey, both trackside and online. The support genuinely means a lot and keeps pushing us forward every round.
Next up is a short break before Donington in July, with an exciting invitation event at the 24 Hours of Silverstone in the C1 Endurance Series coming up next weekend.
