Race Report Round 6: Silverstone

Silverstone The Finale. The one that should have been. 🏁

We qualified P1, putting Poppy on pole and giving ourselves the perfect starting position.

Unfortunately, within the first hour, alternator issues forced us into the garage, costing us valuable track time during Ben’s opening stint. The team worked incredibly hard to get the car turned around and back out on track, allowing Ben to complete his stint before I jumped in for the final hour.

Despite the time lost in the garage, we managed to bring it home P3. Not quite the result we knew the pace was there for, but still a great way to finish the season on the podium and to finish second in the class championship.

A massive thank you to every single member of the Puretrack Racing team for all their hard work, commitment and countless hours throughout the season. From the highs to the lows, the long days, late nights and everything in between, none of this happens without you.
